Am glad to meet you!
My name is Chibuike Enyinnia “KC”, am a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience in mental health assessment and treatment of patients. Professionally, I have developed excellent skillset in both understanding medical systems and in providing mental health care.
Over the years of my career as a professional nurse, I have gained good experience that spans across medical care and metal health. I have worked in most of the busiest psychiatric crisis response centers such as Friends Hospital in Philadelphia and at Mercer County Crisis Response Center in New Jersey, I have great amount of experience in caring for inpatient at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, Capital Health Regional Medical Centre and outpatient treatment facilities such as Catholic Charities in Trenton and Early Intervention Support Services (EISS) in Hamilton.
My passion for mental health started as a young graduate nurse posted on a psychiatric floor, caring for them made me want to know more and understand how I can contribute my quota in providing care to patients with evidenced based practices. I have over time during my experience noted a gap between mental health and the law, I have a passion of treating my patient with every dignity in accordance with the law of the United States. I provide culturally competent care across board.
“I believe I am as good as my patients”, hence the drive to stabilize my patients and provide patient centered care are my priorities.
I work with all of my patients to achieve full recovery, improved quality of life, and improved relationships and joy by providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy for patients of all age group experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar and other mood disorders, stress intolerance and recovery from addiction.
