Great to meet you!
I have been a social worker for a little over 30 years in various settings with clients working through various challenges. The populations I serve are from tweens to geriatrics. I enjoy working with clients and feel everyone has something to teach me as well. I make efforts in thinking out of the box. Whether you’re looking for healing, growth, or someone to walk alongside you through a difficult time, I am here to help. I enjoy reading science fiction and mystery books. I also enjoy spending time with individuals close to me by attending the farmers' market, walking on the boardwalk, or practicing yoga. I enjoy trying new things and look forward in hearing what’s important to you.
A bit on my approach to therapy
My foundations are in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and empowered.
