Great to meet you!
About me:
My name is Solange. I am a licensed social worker in New Jersey and New York. I have 15 years of working with children, adolescents and families. I am a graduate of Stony Brook University, with a masters in social work, I also have a bachelors in sociology.
My approach to therapy:
I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to create positive outcomes in people's lives. I have a holistic approach to therapy that views your strengths and aspirations, not just your diagnosis and challenges. Our therapeutic relationship will be built on mutual respect and collaboration to reach your goals.
What to expect from first session:
Our sessions will provide a safe, non-judgemental space for you to express your thoughts and feelings. We will explore maladaptive behaviors and create a plan to address and change those behaviors.
My goal is to help you find wellness and peace of mind.
I look forward to working with you.
